A lo largo del documento se presentara el diseño y simulación, de un dispositivo elevador de contenedores, alineado con la metodología de Pahl and Beitz, con el fin de reemplazar el montacargas como dispositivo utilizado en el manejo de contenedores, para así, disminuir la logística del proceso, ahorrar costos en el alquiler y venta de contenedores, aumentar la seguridad del proceso y reducir los tiempos de entrega del producto. Se mostrara detalladamente cada una de las etapas del diseño; explicando los resultados que se obtengan, para al final tener un concepto que cumpla con los requerimientos de los clientes que para el caso del proyecto son las empresas encargadas de vender y alquilar contenedores, pues son estas las que enfrentan la problemática de bajar, subir o movilizar los contenedores transportados en los camiones.

Throughout the document it will be presented the design and simulation, of a container lifting device, aligned with the methodology proposed by Pahl and Beitz, with the objective of replacing the forklift as major device in the manipulation of containers, and reduce the process logistics, save costs in sale and rent of containers, increase the process safety and save time in the product time delivery. It will be shown in detail each of the states of the design; explaining the obtained results, to have at the end of the document a concept that reaches the clients expectation, that in this case are the company’s in charge of selling and renting containers, because this are the ones who confront the troubles of lifting and moving the containers transported in trucks.
