Jerarquización, reordenamiento y señalización vial de la cabecera municipal de Jardín

Abstract

RESUMEN El municipio de Jardín, ubicado en el suroeste antioqueño, tiene vocación turística, razón por lo cual la afluencia de visitantes durante las temporadas de descanso se incrementa, ocasionando problemas de congestión vehicular en la cabecera municipal, incrementándose ésta con la falta de señalización vial y turística. Por medio del análisis del flujo vehicular, teniendo conocimiento de los problemas de movilidad y transporte que se presentan en la cabecera municipal identificados por la administración del municipio, y habiendo inventariado los atractivos turísticos que actualmente ofrece el municipio y la ubicación del Cable Aéreo, se propone una nueva jerarquización vial y un nuevo reordenamiento de las calles y carreras de este municipio, complementándose con la señalización vial necesaria y una señalización turística que proporcione buena orientación a los visitantes del municipio. También se presenta una serie de recomendaciones con el fin de mejorar la movilidad en el lugar, como por ejemplo el incremento de los andenes y zonas peatonales en especial en los recorridos hacia los lugares turísticos cercanos al Parque Principal, a la zona educativa e institucional del municipio, la reducción de la calzada en la vías unidireccionales, definición de vías peatonales y el traslado de zonas de acopios de las moto-taxis.

ABSTRACT

The municipality of Jardín, located in Antioquia´s southwest, has tourist vocation, reason thus the affluence of visitors at the seasons of rest is increased, causing traffic problems, being increased this with the lack of road and tourist signals. By means of the analysis of the vehicular flow, having knowledge of the mobility problems and transport that has the municipal head identified by the municipality administration, and having inventoried the tourist attractive that at this moment offers the municipality and the location of the Cable Aéreo, sets out a new road hierarchy structuring and a new order of the streets of this municipality, complementing with the necessary road signals and a tourist signals that provides good direction to the visitors of the municipality. Also a series of recommendations with the aim to improve mobility in the place, like for example the increase of the sidewalk and the crosswalk in special in the routes towards the tourist places near the Main Square, the educative and institutional zone of the municipality, the reduction of the road in the unidirectional routes, definition of pedestrian routes and the transfer of zones where the moto-taxis collection.
