dc.description.abstract	Elegimos el trabajo social como modalidad de trabajo de grado por que nos permite contribuir a solucionar la carencia de atención profesional en áreas marginadas urbanas y rurales afianzando la comprensión y la conciencia crítica de los problemas sociales del país y brindando oportunidades en la aplicación de los conocimientos adquiridos. En este informe se ilustran las actividades que realizamos para el bien de la población de la ciudad de Medellín, estas son muy diversas debido a todos los proyectos que se llevan a cabo en el municipio. Entre ellas están: revisar y confrontar la veracidad de las cartas y oficios enviados a la Secretaría de Obras Públicas para clasificarlas de acuerdo a su importancia y urgencia, construcción y reparación de andenes, interventoría de algunos contratos, dirección de obras ejecutadas por administración, visitas y reconocimiento del terreno de obras a ejecutar o respondiendo al llamado de la comunidad, reuniones con la comunidad para identificar las necesidades más urgentes en cuanto a infraestructura, realizar diseños y sacar las cantidades de obra y el presupuesto de las obras para ejecutar, hacer un seguimiento general de los contratos en ejecución. Controlando el pago de las actas y verificando que no superen su partida presupuestal, y realizar formatos de administración de contratos.	spa
dc.description.abstract	ABSTRACT: We chose the social work as modality of degree work because it aliows us to contribute to solve the lack of professional attention in urban and rural exciuded areas securing the understanding and the critica¡ conscience of the social problems of the country and offering opportunities in the application of the acquired knowledge. In this report, we illustrate the activities that carry out for the wellbeing of the population of Medellin, they are very diverse due to al¡ the projects that are carried out in the municipality. Sorne of them are: to revise and to confront the truthfulness of the letters and occupations sent to the Secretary of Public Works to classify thern according to their importance and urgency, construction and repair of platforrns, supervision of sorne contracts, to direct works executed by administration, visits and recognition of the land of works to execute or responding to the cal¡ of the community, rneetings with the cornrnunity to identify the most urgent necessities as for infrastructure, to make designs and to calculate the work quantities and the budget of the works to execute, to make a general pursuit of the contracts in execution. Controlling the payrnent of the records and verifying that they don't overcorne their budget arnount, and to carry out forrnats of contracts management.	eng
