dc.description.abstract	Resumen: El mercado internacional al cual se le exporta el plátano hoy en día tiene estándares bastante exigentes de calidad; para poder lograrlos se debe tener un proceso limpio en el cual se tengan en cuenta todas y cada una de las condiciones básicas para proteger la fruta de cualquier factor que pueda afectarla. Este trabajo consistió en la evaluación detallada de cada subproceso del proceso logístico actual del plátano comenzando desde la preparación del terreno hasta la acomodación en un contenedor refrigerado y adecuado especialmente para el transporte de esta fruta. Se determinó partir de la base que el proceso de pre cosecha estaba bien con respecto a los estándares y que esa calidad que hasta allí se había logrado era la que se debía mantener durante toda la manipulación de la pos cosecha. Se estudió el caso de una compañía colombiana comercializadora de plátano y se identificaron algunas brechas que actualmente se tienen. Basado en esto se listaron las condiciones básicas que se deben tener en cuenta para no incurrir en estos errores. A demás se hizo un énfasis especial sobre el tratamiento térmico de la fruta y los requerimientos que se deben seguir para poder realizar una exportación con calidad.	spa
dc.description.abstract	Abstract: The international market for the banana exportation now a days have pretty high quality standards; in order to get it there must be a clean process which have to have every conditions to protect the fruit of any factor or condition that may affect it or cause any damage on it. This work consisted in a detailed evaluation of each sub process of the actual logistical process of the banana, starting from the terrain preparation until the dispose of the pallets into a refrigerated container specially arranged for this fruit transportation. It was determined from the fact that the pre harvest process was good enough compared to the standards, and that the quality obtained until this moment was the one which has to be conserved along all the post harvest manipulation A case of a Colombian company was studied, and some brakes in the process where founded. Based on that analysis, the basic conditions that must be in kept in mind to not fall in these mistakes were listed.
