    In the canned products portfolio of Zenú is the Vienna sausage; that comes in a two pieces aluminum can with a sticker that describe the product inside; actually there have been problems with the supply, creating discontent by the non-fulfillment of orders. This situation presents a business opportunity for Litoempaques, which is the company of Grupo Nacional de Chocolates, that supplies the tin plate cans to Compañía de Galletas Noel and Compañía Nacional de Chocolates. This article includes a description of the feasibility study to complete the installation of the aluminum packaging line. This project is strategic to Grupo Nacional de Chocolates and giving a backward integration between the companies Zenú and Litoempaques. We researched on market, technical, environmental, organizational, legal, financial and financial assessment, and project management, according to ONUDI manual and PMBOK® Guide fourth edition, respectively. The conclusion of this study is reflected in the financial assessment including their profitability calculations and analysis, then showing that project is feasible for implementation.
