(Juan Camilo)This paper presents a compilation of the main results obtained in the Antioquia Department about the interactions between water, soil, and vegetation. Although there is an advanced knowledge in some aspects of this relationship, it is necessary to go deep into other ones which have not been approached in an integral manner. Likewise, it is necessary to enhance the research in order to cover the diversity of ecosystems of the Department.
