    Diseño organizacional para una empresa agropecuaria. Caso: Finca Ganadera y Lechera - Departamento de Córdoba.

    ABSTRACT: The Livestock in Colombia is considered one of the most important economic activities in the country by providing essential food such as meat, milk, leather products, and also is an activity present in most of the rural area of the country. Unfortunately in the country, this activity has been developed based on knowledge transmitted from generation to generation, using only traditional methods in their management, giving as a result products of quality between medium and low, generating little value to customers and not letting the producer maximize the utility. As a result, it is necessary that the responsible of farming livestock , aware of the need to implement methods, techniques and tools of modern management, in order to achieve an organization in the management of property, that helps to distinguish the sources of income, expenses and costs, to create goals and strategies consistent with them and to achieve their rationalization and control, allowing the producer to maximize the utility and farm productivity, providing products with excellent quality, complying with the rules of asepsis and hygiene required by the environment. This thesis aims to show the applicability and necessity of implement some modern management models in the agricultural sector, using the example of farm dedicated to the production of meat and milk in the Cordoba department. Initially, all the information available of the last five years was collected, both in the technical and administrative areas, to know the historical and present situation of the farm, and then, the development of a SWOT matrix was made as a diagnosis of the situation. The next step was design the value chain, which includes the primary processes, related to the principal object of the farm, and secondary or supporting processes, which are essential for achieving high productivity levels. Subsequently, the flow chart of both primary and support processes was built, indicating each of the activities involved in this process. Additionally, the fact sheet was developed to each process, which among other things includes the indicators to be continually measured, reviewed and monitored. Finally, it provides a financial structure consistent with the operation of the property and proposes the continuous implementation of certain tools to improve the management and therefore productivity of the farm such as the establishment of a schedule of activities, the design of general and specific levels jobs, the implementation of financial incentives, training and improvements in working condition.

    Sistema generador de vacío en seco para dispensador de separadores de cartón en embalajes de envases de vidrio para la planta de O-I Peldar en Envigado

    En la planta de producción de botellas de vidrio de O-I Peldar en Envigado, Antioquia se presentan constantemente reclamos y problemas de calidad respecto a los cartones que llevan los pallets para separar cada tendido o piso de productos. Estos inconvenientes son generados por el sistema de vacío que posiciona tales cartones en el embalaje. ¿Qué sistema generador de vacío puede sustituir al actual, para aumentar la productividad de la paletizadora reduciendo costos de operación en términos energéticos sin comprometer la calidad del producto? En primera instancia se evaluó la paletizadora de la línea de producción “C1” para encontrar el periodo de trabajo de la misma y conocer el tiempo perdido por fallos en el sistema generador de vacío. Luego se implementó un nuevo sistema impulsado por un soplador existente en la planta y para el cual se diseñó un distribuidor de aire con elementos estándar como tubos y racores. El sistema funcionó correctamente pero con un alto costo energético. A partir de los resultados obtenidos al evaluar este nuevo sistema se diseña uno con un eyector neumático multietapa y con ventosas de 20mm de diámetro. Finalmente se presenta el nuevo diseño con las referencias de los dispositivos comerciales y el costo total de inversión presentando así los costos energéticos anuales.
