    People with disabilities require technical assistance that give them autonomy and independence in activities of daily living. In this work was developed the conceptual design of a bath standing chair to facilitate persons with disabilities to perform personal hygiene more privately. They use the Ulrich design methodology for defining each of the components and the mechanical device validation is performed by finite element analysis. The results present an approachable design to standard bathroom, corrosion resistant and able to do sitting/standing.

    This report presents the design and implementation of a CAD/CAM manufacturing process for contoured seating systems. The project was developed for the Rehabilitation Engineering and Technology Center (CITeR) at Iberoamericana University in Mexico City. CITeR is engaged in the design and development of assistive devices including contoured seating systems.
