Publicación Acceso abierto Ambiente inteligente distribuido de aprendizaje: integración de ITS y CSCL por medio de agentes pedagógicos(2014-05-08) Ovalle, D. A. (Demetrio Arturo); Jiménez-Builes, J. A. (Jovani Alberto)In this article we start describing the theory inside the Distributed Intelligent Learning Environment (DILE), Intelligent Tutorial Systems (ITS), Computer-Supported Collaborative Learning (CSCL), and Multi-Agent Pedagogical Systems (MAS); therefore, we can present the Multi-Agent Teaching/Learning system called ALLEGRO. Besides of putting all the areas mentioned and those regarding the research of Distributed Artificial Intelligence (DAI) together, ALLEGRO fundaments its instructional paradigm in three pedagogical models: conductive, cognitive (distributed cognition and problem-based learning) and the social-historical theory. The validation was made through studying different cases handling digital graphics for graduate courses on Architecture majoring.Publicación Acceso abierto Análisis de la ingeniería de requisitos orientada por aspectos según la industria del software(2014-05-09) Londoño, L. F. (Luis Fernando); Anaya-Hernandez, R. (Raquel); Tabares-Betancur, M. S. (Marta Silvia)Applying good practices to manage software requirements is a basic condition to obtain quality products. Therefore, it is important that software companies maintain a constant research around of new techniques and mechanisms to improve requirements activities such as elicitation, specification, and modeling. In this paper, we present a study of most representative aspect-oriented requirement approaches in order to analyze the way how these could support issues confronted by software companies during early stages of the lifecycle. Thus, we make a comparative analysis among approaches under criteria defined such as scope, traceability, requirements composition, conflict management, mapping, validation-verification, and scalability. Results achieved allowing us to know opportunities offered by aspect-oriented approaches so as to improve the requirement process.Publicación Acceso abierto Análisis de la trazabilidad desde la perspectiva de la orientación a aspectos(2014-05-07) Tabares-Betancur, M. S. (Marta Silvia)In this article an analysis about traceability concerns from the aspect-oriented software development over a software system is presented. To achieve that, the general concepts about traceability and the aspect oriented approaches is treated; also the way of this technique can provide elements to verify reliability and evolution of the requirements in the software development process. To treat traceability from this way will drive to developer to identify general elements necessary to determine trace of crosscutting concern when these affect other concerns, and in turn how different pieces of a software artifact associated to this concern type have evolved and affected others along the development of life cycle.Publicación Acceso abierto Currículos estructurados en la lógica y el método de la ingeniería(2014-05-07) Hernández-Pérez, R. D. (Rubén Darío); Ospina, L. V. (Lucía Victoria)In a society subjected to the uncertainty and the dynamics of permanent change, it is necessary to have an integral educational process for the students: both as professionals and human beings. This will allow students to solve with independency and creativity the most general and frequent problems of their profession, as well as to participate actively in the economical and social development of their country. To achieve this, the Antioquia School of Engineering (Escuela de Ingeniería de Antioquia) has assumed the challenge of enhancing their academic programs curricula with criteria such as pertinence, academic quality, and rationality. Those criteria take into account national and international tendencies for pedagogical activities, duration, and special emphasis in self-learning. This article shows the proposed curriculum for the Civil Engineering program, its minimal and essential disciplinary structure, as its logical articulation, guided by objectives and designed in correspondence with the application of the Engineering method.Publicación Acceso abierto Directrices para la construcción de artefactos de persistencia en el proceso de desarrollo de software(2014-05-12) Quintero, J. B. (Juan Bernardo); Hernández, D. M. (Diana María); Yanza, A. (Andrea)Data storage is a process required in almost every information system nowadays; the treatment given to databases during the software development can be a determining factor in order to achieve good performance of a resulting system. The accelerated technological evolution and the progress of the software enterprises have given rise to diverse modeling strategies and several data access techniques. This work explains the practical and conceptual references for the construction of products related to databases, the access techniques to them and the handling that so-called persistence artifacts have at an industrial level.Publicación Acceso abierto ¿Disenso entre pares revisores? No se preocupe, que a fin de cuentas el editor siempre tiene la última palabra(2014-04-30) Cruz, A. M. (Antonio Miguel)All of us have at some point submitted a scientific paper for review with the idea of being published in a given journal. Often, the authors experience many barriers to success (achieving publication) when they submit articles for publication. These barriers depend on the quality of the writing itself, on the biases of the peer reviewers, the way you write your cover letter, and the way in which you address and respond to the observations (erroneous or not) emitted by peer reviewers and the editor of the journal. The purpose of this paper is to provide useful pieces of advice on how to publish articles that tackle issues in the health area in high impact journals in the area of Operations Research & Management Sciences.Publicación Acceso abierto Enseñanza de las ciencias desde una mirada de la didáctica de la Escuela Francesa(2014-05-12) Barros-Martínez, J. F. (Juan Fernando)In science teaching variety of knowledge takes part: that of sciences, that of the scientist, the academic, that of the professor, the daily one, that of the student. In this paper a journey for some models of constructivist’s focus is carried out, until arriving to the didactics of the French school, in an attempt to show the elements of the didactic situations of important development in mathematics teaching. The intention is to show that this didactics could be welcomed in the teaching of sciences, since its proposal offers to the process of teaching-learning and in particular to the ternary relationship professor, student and object of the knowledge elements for a didactic development that can guarantee the appropriation of the knowledge on the part of the student.Publicación Acceso abierto Entrevista a John Diego Riascos, el soldado sin rostro(2014-04-24) Salazar-Gómez, A. (Gilma Liliana)Sequence diagram is a conceptual schema for representing behavior of a system. For performing such a task, it employs the object spec from a scenario and the sequence of messages exchanged among the objects. These elements describe a transaction of the system. Several approaches try the automated generation of conceptual models (like sequence diagram). Some of them use natural language as a starting point, but they are focused on other diagrams. Some others are focused on sequence diagram, but they do not obtain elements like combined fragments describing several logical constraints of the system. Other approaches use source code as a starting point, but source code can be related to an advanced phase of the software development life cycle. In this paper we define a method based on heuristic rules for obtaining automatically the elements of the sequence diagram (including combined fragments) from pre-conceptual schemas. These heuristic rules are implemented in the AToM3 tool and applied in a case study.Publicación Acceso abierto MDA y el papel de los modelos en el proceso de desarrollo de software(2014-05-09) Quintero, J. B. (Juan Bernardo); Anaya-Hernandez, R. (Raquel)The role of models is critical in software development to enable the reuse of different software elements and to aid the work of several roles involved in the process. Model Driven Architecture (MDA) suggests a development process based on models realization and transformation. The principles in which MDA is based are abstraction, automation, and standardization. The central process of MDA is the transformation of models from the problem space (CIM) to platform specific models (PSM), passing across models describing a platform independent solution (PIM). In order to explain the model role in the software process development, this paper explores the main concept presented in the MDA proposal.Publicación Acceso abierto Un método de ingeniería inversa de código JAVA hacia diagramas de secuencias de UML 2.0(2014-05-09) Zapata-Jaramillo, C. M. (Carlos Mario); Ochoa, O. A. (Óscar Andrés); Vélez, C.(Camilo)Software reverse engineering seems to be the process for helping software quality assurance and documentation in applications with low-quality analysis and design models. It also helps for decreasing maintenance cost and time. Currently, some CASE tools and research proposals assist analysts to develop reverse engineering process with UML diagrams as a result (especially class and sequence diagram). Some of them have reached experimental phases. Some others are focused more on class diagram and less on sequence diagram. A third group of CASE tools and proposals obtains sequence diagram, but the resulting diagram lacks some of the elements of the UML 2.0 specification. In this paper, we propose a method for automating the conversion of JAVA code into UML 2.0 sequence diagram, by means of the application of transformation rules for converting code elements to the diagram elements. We also present an example of the method application through a prototype named UNC-Inversor. Publicación Acceso abierto Un patrón de interacción entre diagramas de actividades UML y sistemas workflow(2014-05-12) Tabares-Betancur, M. S. (Marta Silvia); Pineda, J. D. (Juan Diego); Barrera, A. F. (Andrés Felipe)In software development environments there is a big interest to look and develop techniques that could integrate transactional systems with Workflow systems in order to support the business processes in organizations. Nevertheless, in the software industry it is not common to find techniques or practices that facilitate the development of system models according to the business processes. In this article we define a development pattern to standardize the interaction between UML 2.0 activity diagrams, which represent the operations of a system, and the business processes automated by means of Workflow technologies. The traceability of the above mentioned interaction is supported by means of traceability models that control the evolution of both operations of the business and of the system. To show the application of the pattern a case study is developed.Publicación Acceso abierto El pensamiento sistémico como herramienta metodológica para la resolución de problemas(2014-05-14) Liévano-Martínez, F.
