Caso: Fanalca S.A(Universidad EIA, 2009) Benítez Porras, Johanna Marcela; Restrepo Acevedo, Cristina; Ceballos García, FernandoFANALCA S.A. is a company belonging to the automotive industry with headquarters located in Cali and plants in Bogotá and Medellín. This company has been making assembling parts for main automotive assemblers in the country, including General Motors Colmotores, Compañía Colombiana Automotriz and SOFASA. This graduate project is focused on structuring the Human Resource Department for the Medellín plant, which until now has been developing certain activities related to training and welfare of its employees, but does not count on a department exclusively working on this objective. The first stage of the project consisted in adapting to the real world what had been done related to employee development. First, we started with job position specifications, since they are the main input for the best development of all processes addressed by this department and later on, recruitment, training and recognition processes were updated.
