    With the upgrade of the Colombian earthquake resistant construction regulation, many changes were introduce undoubtedly to look for safer, more functional and more durable structures, perhaps some of these changes affect significantly construction cost, so in this work we intended to identify the most significant changes in the titles H.3, I, J y K of these regulation, only the corresponding to buildings classified in the occupation group; residential-multifamily (R-2) of great height. Once the professionals involved in the industry of construction stared to studied and identify the changes, they all hurry to filling the documentation to obtain the license of construction under NSR-98. That’s why the increment of 122,95 % between the first and last trimestral period of 2010, according the Department of Economic and Technical Studies of CAMACOL.
