Publicación Acceso abierto Nanoferrogeles con aplicaciones biomédicas(Universidad EIA, 2013) Leal Marín, Sara María; Vergara Rojas, Julián David; Londoño López, Martha ElenaMagnetic nanoparticles (MNPs) were synthesized by co-precipitation of ferric chloride (FeCl3) and ferrous chloride (FeCl2) in chloride acid (HCl), using ammonium hydroxide (NH4OH) as co-precipitation agent and tetramethylammonium ((CH3)4NCl) as a surfactant to prevent aggregates formation. Ferrogels were obtained by incorporating MNPs in polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) hydrogel through chemical crosslinking at 35 °C, using methanol, acetic acid and glutaraldehyde as crosslinking solution.
