Whereas this sport is indeed considered as a business that fuels the economy through jobs, entertainment, and formal bets internationally with roughly € 80,000 million and generates € 6,000 million in profit to local governments (IFHA, 2009;2010;2011), in Colombia horse-riding is barely known and it continues to wait for some support and backing from the administration.
