ABSTRACT: The feasibility of generating a reduction in the cost of a concrete mix including CV1v virgin fly ash in the cementitious matrix as an alternative pozzolanic material making variations in the replacement percentage of cement for fly ash between 5 and 17% was studied, Percentages and proportions for each of the factors of interest involved in the mix were defined after a technical-bibliographic review, which also allowed defining the working parameters and target values for each evaluated property. The characterization of each of the raw materials was necessary in order to classify them according to the different standards that govern the different characterization tests of the materials. Subsequently, each of the systems that were defined from the experimental design composed of four design factors were elaborated and tested, which were the ratio (a / c), cv / c ratio, sand / c ratio and the percentage of GCP superplasticizer additive. The response surface methodology allowed an approach to the behavior of concrete when subjected to variations in its composition, the interaction of the different factors and the results of the response variables, in this case the percentage of fluidity and resistance, made possible the selection of systems 1 and 2, which had the appropriate properties for 3D printing according to the conditions given in the review of the different investigations carried out on the subject. The inclusion of a new CV2v ash allowed to expand the research on the effect it has on concrete, such as the decrease in its resistance. The modifications of this raw material, such as grinding, were favorable for the elaborated mixtures, providing improvements in terms of strength, fluidity, and workability compared to virgin fly ash. From a series of tests in a fresh state and hardened to systems 1 and 2, it was possible to select system 3 that had the optimal conditions for printing, said system finally subjected to tests to determine the complementary properties and thus Analyze the cost of this compared to the market based on its proportions and the other research carried out on the subject of 3D printing with cementitious base. Regarding the results, it was obtained that system 3 did not reduce the costs of the mix, since the selected system presented an overcharge greater than 10% of the cost of the reference systems.
