Contar con buena salud permite al ciudadano tradicional dar rienda suelta a su vida diaria. En la ciudad de Medellín, los servicios básicos de salud son escasos. Es allí donde entidades conformadas con el fin de atender a los más necesitados surgen. Con más ganas que herramientas, estas instituciones desempeñan su labor social lo mejor posible. Viendo las necesidades que estas instituciones tienen y el compromiso social que se tiene con la ciudad, se busca dar la mano a estas en las áreas donde la necesiten. En la Clínica Infantil Santa Ana (CISA), un adecuado sistema de inventarios sistematizado, permitiría que los profesionales en el área de la salud se dedicaran completamente a sus tareas originales. Con una idea de servicio para la comunidad se dio comienzo a este proyecto. De ahí la importancia de implementar una base de datos especializada y sistematizada para las áreas de Farmacia y Nutrición. Esta base de datos permitirá que los especialistas de la CISA enfoquen sus esfuerzos en las áreas de su especialidad y eviten gastar tiempo en el manejo de los inventarios. Esta base de datos se hizo en el formato que permite el programa ACCES, el cual es especializado en bases de datos. El programa permite tener una interfase de usuario muy similar a la de cualquier sistema operativo de Windows, lo cual garantiza que la gran mayoría del personal esté en capacidad de operarla. Los datos que alimentarán la base de datos son simples, exactos y fáciles de digitar. Esto permitirá la optimización de tiempo y la maximización del personal en sus áreas de especialidad. Así se le brindara a la CISA una herramienta electrónica que hace mucho tiempo paso de ser un lujo a una necesidad para la operación armónica de una institución. Teniendo el conocimiento que la salud es parte esencial de la vida y las necesidades que tenemos como países marginados, cualquier colaboración que se haga por las causas sociales serán bien recibidas. El compromiso de cualquier profesional con la sociedad es indispensable para el desarrollo ideal de cualquier comunidad. Vivir en una ciudad como Medellín y sentir sus inequidades sociales día a día, sólo nos muestra la gran deuda que tenemos con nuestra ciudad y con nuestro entorno. Allí se presenta la oportunidad de aportar un granito de arena a una causa noble. Contribuir con una institución como la CISA, la cual esta involucrada en prestar un servicio muchos hermanos que la necesitan, fue el impulso de este proyecto. Ahora la Clínica Infantil Santa Ana contará con una herramienta que hará a la institución preocuparse más por lo que mejor saben hacer; brindarle salud y bienestar a la comunidad.ABSTRACT: Health can be probably the most important service that human beings can receive. Having good health lets the regular civilian develop his normal way of life. In the city of Medellín, basic health services are undersized. Its there were institutions who help the most needed, appear. Using more will than tools, these institutions try to develop their task the best way they can. By taking a look at all of the needs these institutions have and also the social compromise that we have with our city, we must get involved in helping them out. At Clínica Infantil Santa Ana (CISA), an adequate systemized inventory structure will allow the health professionals to take care of their essential responsibility. Knowing the needs this institution had and being self-conscience of our desire to help, was what got this project started. Based on all the information mentioned before, we decided that what the CISA needed was a specialized and systemized database for the pharmaceutical and nutritional areas. This database will let the specialists concentrate on their efforts in their essential tasks and avoid spending time in the inventory. This database was developed in a program called ACESS. This program specializes in the creation of database solutions. The program lets you run a user friendly interface similar to that of WINDOWS, which guarantees that the majority of the people that work with it will be able to work with it. The data that the user has to input in the database is simple, exact and easy to submit. This will help the CISA optimize its time and at the same time maximize the time of specialists in their given area. This way, the CISA will receive a systemized tool that long ago was considered a luxury and that now has become a need to run a successful organization. Knowing that health is a fundamental piece of human beings and the enormous necessities we have as third world countries, any given help to one of these organizations appreciated. The compromise of every professional with its community is indispensable for the ideal growth of any society. Living in a city like Medellín and feeling the unfairness day by day, only shows us the great social debt we have. It is there, were a possibility to help the ones who needed it appeared.
