Ahora bien, es pertinente realizar una investigación enfocada en las necesidades presentes en la familia del paciente, ya que esta enfermedad no solo afecta a la persona como tal, sino a todas aquellas que la rodean, y con base en ello poder realizar un diseño de un sistema que pueda coadyuvar según sean los requerimientos del usuario. La metodología del proyecto se llevará a cabo según como se plantea en el libro Engineering Design escrito por George Dieter. Para finalizar, se espera obtener un prototipo físico que dispense pastillas en horas programadas y, además, tenga funciones que puedan aprovecharse como terapias no farmacológicas.ABSTRACT: Today, the number of people who suffer from any of the signs or symptoms of Alzheimer's disease is worrying, this is linked in a way to the continuous increase in life expectancy for the elderly worldwide.
