This problematic situation is addressed from its description to the justification of a research problem that guides the discussion toward the development of a neonatal incubator with temperature and humidity control, capable of acquiring the patient’s sleep polysomnography data. Additionally, through artificial intelligence methods, the incubator will be able to identify apnea episodes and potentially restore the respiratory reflex in response. Based on the justification of the problem, a research question is proposed to motivate the development of the project. After establishing a problem and a research question, the results of the search for international, national, and local precedents that address topics consistent with the previously highlighted issues are documented.application/pdfengDerechos Reservados - Universidad EIA, 2025Neonatal incubator with response to apnea episodesTrabajo de grado - PregradoAtribución-NoComercial 4.0 Internacional (CC BY-NC 4.0)info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessPrematurityNeonatal mortalityNeonatal incubatorArtificial intelligence in medicineApnea of prematurityhttp://purl.org/coar/access_right/c_abf2
